We used to love cooking together. But after having 2 kids, we no longer had the time to leisurely mess around with ingredients in the kitchen. We still wanted to feed our family with healthy meals (esp. desserts) though. So we slowly accumulated a collection of recipes we could quickly whip up to the motivating soundtrack of 2 mouths screaming to be fed. And now we’re sharing those with the world.

What’s different here?

There are no dearth of recipe blogs on the Web. But most of them make you wade through reams of fluffy narrative before they get to the actual recipe; we know what it’s like to prep food to the tune of ear-splitting wails so we get right to the point & save our limited wit for the instructions themselves.

We’re also keenly aware that kids tend to be fussy eaters because their taste buds haven’t yet been desensitized by years of strong flavours; so we offer basic recipes with simple ingredients as well as a few optional additions for those of you whose hungry mouths are more adventurous.

Furthermore, it’s no secret that kids generally love sweet treats. We wanted to indulge the sweet teeth in those hungry mouths without filling them with empty calories or their chompers with cavities; to this end we omit sugar (and other artificial sweeteners) from all our recipes and stick with real fruits to provide some sweetness that packs a nutritional wallop too.

Lastly, you may notice that none of our recipes contain animal products. We’ve found excellent substitutes for them as needed.
